Solérieux is a quiet, secluded little village with no shops. However, the nearest ‘bar-tabac’, which sells most essentials, is only three km away, in La Baume-de-Transit. A grocer, bakery, butchers and supermarket can be found in other nearby villages: Montségur, Saint-Restitut and Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux; all within 4 to 8 km.
Numerous gourmet restaurants and the typical ‘Bistrot de Pays’, where local specialities are served, are within easy reach of Solérieux.
Lutopie is perfectly situated for day trips by car, and for the sportier guests, by bicycle.
Within a radius of just 10 minutes you will find:
- Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux: a charming small town
- Grignan: a magnificent historic site.
- Suze la Rousse: Université du Vin
Less than an hour away by car:
- Ardêche with its "Gorges" and "La Grotte Chauvet"
- Mont Ventoux
Every day of the week, including weekends, there is a market somewhere nearby. For example there’s the famous Marché Provençal in Nyons on Thursdays and the Marché aux Truffes (truffle market) in Richerenches (on Saturdays from November 15th till March 15th).
